Conditions for campervan rentals

• Minimum age for rental is 27 years old and 5 years of driving license
• The reservation of a vehicle includes the payment of 30% of the total rental as a deposit. In the event that the client cancels the requested reservation, the following penalties will be applied to the deposit:
  • If the cancellation is communicated before 30 days of the start of the rental ……………….. 20%
  • If the cancellation is communicated between 30 and 16 days before the start of the rental …….. 50%
  • If notice of cancellation is given between 30 and 16 days before the start of the rental period
  • If notice of cancellation is given between 15 and 6 days before the start of the rental period ……… 80%
  • If the cancellation is communicated less than 5 days before the start of the rental ….. 100%
• The total amount of the contracted rental must be paid before departure, by cash, credit card or bank cheque. A deposit of at least €800 must also be paid by VISA/Mastercard (debit cards will not be accepted) to guarantee the correct use and return of the vehicle.
• The customer shall not be entitled to claim any compensation if, due to force majeure or unforeseen circumstances, the vehicle cannot be delivered on the agreed date.
• In the event that the hirer, by his own unilateral decision, starts the rental late or terminates it early, he shall not be entitled to any reimbursement.
• The hirer shall not be entitled to any reimbursement whatsoever.
• The delivery and return of the vehicle will take place at our facilities, located at Calle Curniola, 59, Mahón, Balearic Islands.
• Delivery will be at 14:00 hours and return at 08:00 hours.
• When the Lessor delivers the vehicle to the client, the client must place the contents of the suitcases inside the Motorhome and leave the suitcases at the Lessor’s facilities.
• The client will be provided with a courtesy vehicle from the time of arrival on the island until the time of delivery of the Motorhome and from the time of return until the departure of the flight/boat.
• The client has checked the vehicle and its facilities before receiving it and proceeding to its payment and acknowledges receiving them to his full satisfaction, therefore, the breakdown of the vehicle or the malfunction of the equipment during the rental will not entitle the client to any compensation, refund or discount.
• It is expressly forbidden to use the vehicle for any activity contrary to morals, laws and good customs. It is expressly forbidden to transport more people than the number permitted by law, to carry out races, competitions, transport of goods or objects, whether or not permitted by our legislation, to transfer its use for payment or profit, as well as to cover or remove the anagrams of the company. Likewise, the Lessee receives all the documentation required by the current regulations and is obliged to show it when any official or agent of the authority requires him to do so.
• Bring pets. Unless expressly authorized by the company.
• The Lessee is responsible for all the documentation required by the current regulations.
• The user is liable for any sanction or fine imposed for contravening the provisions in force, and shall be equally liable in the event that the vehicle is retained or impounded due to his fault, and shall also bear the costs and loss of profit of the lessor during the time that the vehicle is unavailable, applying the daily amount for each day it is retained or impounded, according to the model and rates in force of the vehicle rental price.
• Any accident, collision or damage affecting the vehicle, regardless of its importance, shall be reported by the user to the lessor within ten hours of its occurrence, under penalty of being subject to the decision of the insurance company, and its liability shall extend to the damages that the lessor may suffer. In the event that the accident prevents the continued use of the motorhome, the contract will be automatically terminated without the right to any reimbursement by the lessor of the amount paid for the deposit or for the remaining days of the rental contract.
• In the event of a breakdown whose repair does not exceed €90, the Client may carry it out directly without the prior authorisation of the Rental Firm, the amount being reimbursed upon presentation of the official invoice. For breakdowns of more than €90, the client must request authorisation from the lessor, and the amount will also be reimbursed on presentation of the official invoice.
• In the event that the vehicle is stopped for reasons solely and exclusively attributable to the customer, the customer shall be liable for any damages resulting from such stoppage.
• The rented vehicle must be returned in good hygienic conditions, with a clean interior and with the toilet and waste water tanks duly emptied. Otherwise, the user accepts the payment of the fixed amount of 120€.

• If the client wishes to extend the rental of the vehicle beyond the established dates, he/she must inform the lessor 3 days before the end of the contract. The eventual confirmation of the extension will be made via email or WhatsApp, and will be subject to the availability that the lessor has at this moment, and therefore the lessor does not assume any prior commitment. Unauthorised delays in delivery or delays due to force majeure will be penalised with a daily rate of three times the amount applied in the contract.
• The vehicle covered by the contract is insured in accordance with the law, with a deductible of 800€ for each claim, so that, should any claim arise during the term of the rental contract, the client shall bear this amount, which he/she now authorises to be compensated, if necessary, with the deposit constituted. The client shall be solely responsible for any civil liabilities arising from events or circumstances not contemplated as included in the attached policy, which he/she declares to know and accept.
• In no case and under no circumstances shall the lessor be liable for possible thefts from the interior of the Motorhome.
• The security deposit shall be returned to the lessee.
• The deposit will be returned after examination of the vehicle by the technical service, which, in case of damage due to misuse, will determine by detailed note the amount that the customer must pay, authorising the customer to compensate this amount from the deposit deposited. If it is not possible to assess the damage immediately, the lessor shall have 30 days to return, if applicable, the remaining amount of the deposit, after deducting the cost of repairing the damage. In the event that the invoice and consequently the payment of the amount resulting from the use of the rented vehicle, penalties or other concepts is pending, the client authorises to compensate said amount in the “charge” of the corresponding credit card signed to that effect.
• The vehicle is delivered with a full tank of fuel and must be returned full.
• The Lessor reserves the right to modify the reserved vehicle on the same day of delivery for another vehicle of the same category and/or seats or for another vehicle of a higher category.
• Smoking inside the vehicle is strictly forbidden under penalty of 250€, being responsible for any damage or burns that may be caused.
• Maximum mileage depending on rental days:

  • 4 days – 600 Km
  • 5/6 days – 850 Km
  • 7 days – 1,050 Km
  • More than 8 days – Unlimited
  • Extra kilometres will be charged at €0.30
